Terri and Scott are downstairs, talking about how they wish they could sit around and do nothing. Darbie enters, and is noticeably upset when the others ignore her. It transfers to Jake, as he's flipping through the Cookbook. Silvers in her garden, where she waters a small plant with purple flowers with a dropper by delicately dropping two drops on both the sides of the plant. Kelly asks her if she's okay, and Becky reassures her that she's fine, plastering a fake smile. Becky is going to give her the present, and she suddenly sees the Cookbook glowing on the shelf, and all of a sudden she become really serious. It's Kelly's birthday, and she still has one more present to open. The episode opens with a flashback to six months ago. To undo the magic, Darbie must sneak into one of the scariest places in town. But a magical mistake causes it to be a celebration they'll never forget. When Kelly and Hannah forget Darbie's birthday, they whip up a surprise sugary feast.
